Dance your heart out in complete silence! If you have never been to a Silent Disco we highly suggest the experience! 

Here's how it works: each guest receives a set of headphones to wear and can switch the stations to play tunes from our dueling DJs: TBA. The only way to hear the music is through the headset! The event is as fun to watch as it is to participate. You can dance like no one is watching, sing to music only you can hear, and laugh away with your friends - all while raising money for the JAS/JFMAF Music Scholarship Fund!

All proceeds to the event go towards the JAS/JFMAF Music Scholarship Fund - a musical scholarship for local, musically talented high school seniors looking to continue their music education.

We are so excited to host the 2nd Annual Sonic Showdown at The Temporary in Willits on April 13th, 2019.

Sonic Showdown is a showcase for young musical talent from Aspen to Rifle presented by Jazz Aspen Snowmass and the Jake Foerster Music Arts Fund. This is a unique opportunity for students show off what they can do! All forms and genres of music are welcome this year: DJs, bands, soloists, vocalists, rappers, collaborations, etc.  A group of professional musicians will be on hand to offer each group a critique after they perform. JAS will also be watching and rewarding possible future performances at the June or Labor Day Experiences, complimentary recording time at a local studio and other perks.
