ReFievel Tribute Concert - August 26th | Denver, CO

To All JFMAF Friends and Supporters:  

It is my pleasure to report that since it’s inception in 2014, the Jake Foerster Music  Arts Fund (JFMAF) has had the privilege to present 9 scholarship awards to  graduating seniors in the Aspen area.  This year, (2016) the Fund expanded and  awarded scholarships to two graduating seniors from Basalt High School. 

These awarded recipients have come from diverse backgrounds, talents, needs and  interests. Ranging from singer songwriters, music producers, experts in multiple  instruments, orchestration, A cappella vocal composition to music therapy for  medical rehabilitation, these musical entrepreneurs are pushing their own personal  boundaries.  While music might not be their selected major in college; a major part  of their lives revolve around music creation, performance and appreciation.

We encourage students at every level to reach out to JFMAF and show us your vision and chosen path in the medium of sound.  

We would also like to extend a warm welcome to join us at the upcoming ReFievel Tribute Concert in Denver on Friday, August 26th. In participation with Souls in Action, we're looking forward to an exciting night of music and dance. 

My heart felt thanks go out to all of you, our friends and supporters, for helping continue to  make Jake’s legacy continue through the enthusiastic love of friends,  family and music. Hope to see you in Denver!
